S.T.A.R.S. (Specialized Topics in Areas of Radiologic Sciences) is a well established, inexpensive quality provider of A.S.R.T. Category A home study materials for continuing education for radiographers (xray techs.), techs. employed in nuclear medicine, mammography, radiation therapy, angiography, CT, MRI, and radiology nurses and doctors. Our educational materials are approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (A.S.R.T.) for continuing education credits on a national level in all states.

State Licenses: These continuing education credits apply to state license requirements such as California, Ohio, etc. Most state licensing agencies accept A.S.R.T. credit. Please check with your state licensing organization if you are concerned about acceptability since individual state rules change over time.

Home studies have been appreoved by the Ohio Department of Health for licensed GXMOs and non-licensed applicants for the state exam. I also provide 6 hour renewal and 12 hour training conferences for general x ray machine operators as a license requirement for the Ohio Department of Health.
